Workshops
Black Sheep offers workshops on special topics all year long!
Our workshops provide knitters a chance to learn new techniques (i.e. Entrelac, Lace, Finishing Skills) or to create specific projects (i.e. Fair Isle Hats, Mittens, Socks). Our teachers are experienced knitters who promote “hands-on” learning with a special emphasis on having fun!

We also like to introduce knitting designers through our various workshops. Prior sessions have included Embellishing Knitwear and The Edge of Color Workshops with Kristin Nicholas, “Fit to Flatter” tutorials with Amy Herzog and Knitted Beaded Ornaments with Lynn Wilson.

1) Workshops are on a first-come, first-pay basis. Please call us with a credit card number or stop into the shop to reserve your spot. Please note that you are not officially registered until you have paid for the class.2) Waiting lists are kept for each workshop. We will notify you if a space becomes available (please provide us with both your phone number and your email address).
3) If you are not able to take a workshop for which you have registered, we will provide refunds based on whether or not we are able to fill your spot in the workshop (i.e., if we are unable to fill your spot, we will not provide a refund.)
4) Most of our workshops are for one day, so generally it won’t be necessary to commit to multiple classes. However, in cases where a workshop IS held on multiple days, there is no refund or make-up if you miss individual classes.
5) Workshop cancellations due to inclement weather will be at the discretion of Black Sheep Knitting. If a class is canceled, we will schedule a make-up workshop or refund your money in full.
6) Please note that some workshops require pre-work or purchase of specific materials.
