Taught by Lisa McFetridge
Do you use RAVELRY ? You know it exists… but you don’t know exactly how to use it? …or all that it has to offer?….Then, this is the workshop for you!…Come and learn about this powerful tool for knitters and crocheters.
“What makes Ravelry work so well is that, in addition to being a place to catch up with friends, it is also a boom to its users’ favorite hobby-it helps people catalog their yarn, their favorite patterns, and the stuff they’ve made or plan on making. In other words, there is something to do there.”
(from SLATE online Magazine)
Bring your laptop or IPad and let’s explore RAVELRY together. If you don’t have a RAVELRY ID/password, we will help set you up, or if you already are a RAVELRY member, you will learn to use Ravelry better.
(The devices are not a must for the class, but it’s nice to explore the internet using your own electronics, if possible.)
In addition we will review FLICKR (free and PRO) and YOUTUBE as well as PINTEREST (time permitting). See how these are great tools for all crafters (and not just photographers and teenagers looking for music videos!)
