Learn to make Mittens.

Worked on Double Pointed Needles in Worsted Weight yarns.

They can be solid colored, add a stripe to the cuff or if you are adventurous, work one of the stranded panels that will be provided.

Learn to do thumb gussets and kitchener stitch at the fingertips. You will receive a pattern to work from.

Students should be comfortable working in the round on double pointed needles.

First class: Cast on with multiple needles, working the border and creating the thumb gusset will be covered.

Students should plan on finishing the body of the first mitten in the week between sessions.

Second class: Kitchener the top and make the thumb.
