Join the fun!!! If you missed out on this popular workshop in the fall, now is a good time to jump on board!….Knit one square a month of the Great American Aran Afghan.
This is a great summer project (very portable)…knit your squares over the summer…enjoy your afghan ( 20 squares) during the winter!!!
On May 12th, 10:00 – noon, we will be knitting
Vicki Sever’s “Breast Cancer” Square!
The Workshop meets once a month.
Sign up for as many classes as you would like… take one…take them all!
Cost: $10 a month
Please come into the shop to order your yarn as soon as possible to ensure your yarn arrives in time for class. We appreciate you purchasing your yarn for this workshop at Black Sheep Knitting. We have copies of The Great American Aran Afghan booklet at the shop for purchase.
The May square recommends a US size 6 needle ( but, as always, it’s about your gauge!) Cable needle and tapestry needle also recommended.
Skill level: This is an advanced Beginner Project: Students should know how to cast on, bind off, work simple increases and decreases, follow written pattern instructions. Must know garter, stockinette and ribbing stitches. Knowledge of cables is helpful.
